Too many musicians in this town still don’t know the history of Jefferson St. and Music Row. 

I encourage you to go look it up! Or better yet ask somebody who’s been here. One of my favorite things about growing up here was sitting around listening to stories. Nashville is full of great story tellers. That’s where all the great songs used to come from. We’ve been uplifting one story over the other for far too long and left very valuable lessons that could’ve saved a lot of people a lot of heart ache crumbling in our wake. 

Remembering is resistance. I will never forget. 

This song is inspired by the gentrification of music city. Comes out on the 23rd.
